(01) — The Human Prespective

Documenting the
Human Experience
People are more than their roles. Behind every title is someone who feels, struggles, grows and wants to be understood. The Human Prespective pays close attention to that inner life: how we connect, how we lead, how we talk to one another, and where we find meaning in work and in life. The aim is to describe what being human actually feels like, honestly and without polish, so that people feel seen and want to keep talking about it.
Understand the Person. Elevate the Performance.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PERSPECTIVE
Founded by Mikey Scheschareg
Most of what matters about people happens quietly — in the moment before a hard decision, in the weight someone carries into a room, in the relief of being truly heard.
Years spent on the ice and the golf course taught Mikey to notice what pressure does to people: how discipline is built in private, how identity bends under expectation, and how a team holds together when someone feels they belong.
Behind the mic at @mike.withthe.mic, the focus was never the interviewer. It was the athlete — giving each person the space to tell their story and the dignity of being taken seriously.
Studying communication deepened that curiosity: why some words land and others don't, and how the way we speak to one another shapes whether people feel valued.
Tested Under Pressure, Trusted by Peers
The record behind that perspective was earned the long way — across four varsity sports at Arlington High School, four years of competitive club golf at West Virginia University, and a path through higher education shaped as much by resilience as by results.
Clutch on the course — 2021 golf captain with an 11–0 record, three-time Middlesex League All-Star, and 2022 Boston Herald “Clutch Performer of Fall.”
Part of a championship team — four years of varsity hockey, including the 2021 Middlesex League title, alongside varsity golf, lacrosse, and track and field.
Sustained excellence — undefeated in WVU club golf at 11–0 with a 77 scoring average, six national appearances, and a national tournament win in Las Vegas.
Leadership chosen by peers — voted into Pi Kappa Alpha executive leadership for two years, and a contributor to community and brotherhood in Alpha Sigma Phi.
Resilience in practice — an intentional gap semester at Bunker Hill Community College became a 4.0 GPA and Provost’s Merit List, followed by Dean’s List at WVU.
Rooted in communication — Public Relations and Advertising at WVU, now a junior pursuing a B.A. in Public Relations and Applied Communication at Suffolk University.
The accolades matter less than what they reveal: someone who stays steady when the moment is heaviest, does the quiet work season after season, earns trust from the people beside him, and knows how to reset and come back stronger. Most of all, it is someone who has always wanted the people around him to feel seen — on the team, behind the mic, and in every room since.
The Human Prespective begins there — with paying close attention to people, and representing their experience honestly.
Human Pillars
Discipline — the unseen work people do when no one is watching.
Pressure — what it reveals, and what it asks of us.
Identity — who people are beyond their roles and results.
Connection — the quiet sense of belonging that holds people together.
Communication — words that help people feel understood.
Being valued — the difference it makes when someone is truly seen.
Not a list of credentials — a way of paying attention.
Readings on Behavior — quiet notes on how people feel, grow, and connect
